Offshore Terminal Overhaul

Chevron El Segundo

Curtin Maritime was selected to perform the annual offshore terminal overhaul for Chevron El Segundo tanker berths.

Chevron sought Curtin Maritime out to perform this work due to our perfect safety record and our high-performance equipment. The work for this project involves replacing and refurbishing buoys, as well as removing and replacing hoses, anchors, and associated marine hardware.
Each year, Curtin Maritime returns to perform the overhaul and finds new, innovative ways to complete the job more effectively and efficiently than the year before. In addition, Curtin Maritime has obtained an “A” rating in Chevron’s Contractor Health Environment Safety Management (CHESM) program. This process is “committed to eliminating health, environment, and safety incidents and injuries among contractors. As a contractor, and as a company, Curtin Maritime is committed to accomplishing these goals and incorporating aspects of CHESM into our own safety program.

This annual project with Chevron is just one example of the highly technical work that our crew and equipment can perform excellently.
