Since 2010, Curtin Maritime has been performing the annual Marine Offshore Terminal overhaul for Chevron’s El Segundo refinery. Main components of the project are the replacement of worn mooring components, replacement of submarine fuel hoses and inspection of subsea pipeline. Since Curtin began performing on this project, we have used our foundation of implementing innovative processes to reduce the duration of the project from over 20 days to less than 10 for the standard overhaul.
