This is an acquisition for dredging services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District (Solicitation No. W912PM26BA004), FY27 Maintenance Dredging of the Morehead City Inner Harbor, Morehead City, NC. The project consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 295,000 cubic yards (base) across Range C, East Leg, West Leg, and Northwest Leg of the Inner Harbor, with transportation and placement of dredged material at the Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). Optional work includes dredging at the Aviation Fuel Dock (35,000 CY) and Barge Dock (1,000 CY). The environmental work window for mechanical dredging is August 1 – March 31. No scow overflow is permitted in the West or Northwest Legs.

CMC is committed to maximizing small business participation on this contract in accordance with our Small Business Subcontracting Plan. Although no contract-specific SBE goal has been established, CMC has analyzed the portions of work that could be subcontracted to small businesses and has identified the above NAICS codes as areas where SBEs are available to perform the work. CMC will divide scopes of work into economically feasible units and will assist firms with meeting delivery schedules, providing points of contact regarding bonding, lines of credit, insurance, and information to allow SBE subcontractors to secure their own equipment in order to maximize SBE participation on this project.
