This is an acquisition for dredging services for the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), Maintenance Dredging. The project consists of maintenance dredging at the South San Francisco Ferry Terminal and optional maintenance dredging at the Oyster Point Marina Dock 11 and Guest Dock. Work includes disconnection, removal, storage, and protection of the existing ferry loading float, temporary relocation of the permanent gangway utilizing existing piles, dredging and disposal of sediments at a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approved disposal site (SF-11, Cullinan Ranch, or Montezuma), and full reinstallation of all systems with utility reconnection and hydrographic surveys.

Work will be completed within the June 1 – November 30, 2026, work window.

Barge/scow leasing, waterside storage and dockage, waste oil removal, marine towing, float and gangway handling, site safety personnel, hydrographic surveying, endangered species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, fuel/diesel supply, tools & industrial consumables supplier, and project personnel housing accommodations.

Subcontracting opportunities include, but are not limited to, the following NAICS codes identified by WETA as areas where small business participation is available and applicable:

Proposers are strongly encouraged to obtain SBE participation on this project, although there is no contract-specific SBE goal established. WETA has analyzed the data regarding the portions of work that could be subcontracted to small businesses and has identified the above NAICS codes as areas where SBEs are available to perform the work. In order to assist certified SBE subcontractors and suppliers, CMC will divide scopes of work into economically feasible units and will assist firms with meeting delivery schedules, providing points of contact regarding bonding, lines of credit, insurance, and information to allow SBE subcontractors to secure their own equipment in order to maximize SBE participation on this project.
