The Gretchen C is a fully rebuilt 95-foot coastal tug, initially constructed by Patti Marine in 1983 and completely modernized in 2025. With a 30-foot beam and 13-foot draft, she brings a powerful and balanced presence to any job.
Now powered by twin Cummins QSK38-M2 main engines delivering a combined 3,000 horsepower through Reintjes WAF675L reduction gears (7.091:1 ratio) and kort nozzles. Gretchen C boasts a Tier 4 emissions rating, ensuring cleaner and more efficient operations.
Her towing muscle is backed by a Markey tow winch loaded with 1-3/4” wire and 2,700 feet of Haggie wire. She’s also equipped with dual Pullmaster M50 auxiliary winches and twin Wintech push winches, making her a versatile asset for a range of towing and assist operations.
With over 71,000 gallons of fuel capacity, 591 gallons of lube oil, and more than 7,700 gallons of fresh water on board, she’s built for long hauls and extended offshore assignments. Twin John Deere 4045AFM85E generators provide reliable onboard power.
