Curtin Maritime is expanding to San Diego. Curtin Maritime San Diego will bring a host of marine services to the Port of San Diego and the coastal San Diego County. Our maritime services include marine transportation, marine construction, vessel design & construction. We are bringing Full Service Marine Solutions and a full-time dedicated fleet of Floating Cranes, Tugboats, and Barges.
Our operations are supported by a capable fleet of assets encompassed of not only tugs and barges, but also inclusive of associated auxiliary equipment: anchor systems, hydraulic packs, generators, etc. Easy accessibility to equipment offers us an advantage to mobilize quickly; it also provides more opportunities to swiftly contrive more efficient solutions in the field.
As a service provider, our objective is to improve the management of schedules and budgets via results-driven self-performance. Our experienced, knowledgeable crews work with safety as a top priority and efficiently to provide high-quality services to our customers.

Design-Build Vessel Conversion & Fabrication – Tugboat Sarah C
Curtin Maritime purchased the 65’ tugboat Peril Strait from Cambell Towing in 2007, a single screw logging support tug operating in Alaska. After the inspection and survey of several tugboats for sale, Curtin Maritime was able to recognize that this hull type was perfectly suited for the Combi Tug conversion Curtin Maritime had designed.
Ocean Towing & Yacht Towing – Port of San Diego California
We provide Ocean towing & Yacht towing for vessels of any size, large or small. One of our recent projects was the ocean towing of the Halcyon, a 120-foot yacht hailing from Port Angles, Washington. Curtin Maritime was responsible for towing the Halcyon from its home port in Washington State to the Port of San Diego, California.
